When you eat pepperonis do they turn into maggots after you ingest it?

If the pepperoni has fly eggs on it, they will eventually turn to maggots. If you eat it before they develop to that point, you'll digest the eggs before they can turn into maggots. Still gross by the way. Most pepperoni, if properly stored, is "safe"...if you consider pepperoni safe in the first place. I like to tell my son watermelon seeds will grow watermelons in his belly :)
