I seriously need friend advise?

Without even realizing it perhaps you answered your own question, you deserve to go on your trip and enjoy yourself instead of being strssed so most definitly pick someone with whom you can have an awesome time with and better yet someone who is outside the group mention in your question,that would give you a whole new propective.
