The Piccolo Player?

A young man, just graduating from Seminary school, was igned to a small Church in the deep south where the previous minister had recently ped away. Arriving several days later, and eager to make an impression on the townsfolk, the post bulletins all over town announching "New Priest in Town. Come to church this Sunday". Sunday finally arrived and an hour before services were to commence, the secretary for the church called the minister and announced that the organ player was sick. The minister asked the secretary if she could find anybody that could place any instrument and to call him back. 20 minutes before services, the secretary called back and replied, "We have a man who can play a piccolo and he agreed to play the hymns for you". The minister, with a deep sigh replied "He'll have to do". Services commenced and the minister gave a excellent lecture that inspired the churchgoer's that day. It was time for hymn's. The minister announced "Everyone open your hymn books
