What do horses dream about?

Today was the first time i've seen my horse in REM. He was laying down and looked like he was dreaming about running his legs were moving lightly as if he was. I was wondering if they dream about running with a herd or with a human on their back? He doesn't like other horses, but maybe he might just be dreaming about running alone. What do you think?
