Muscular arms? six pack abs? help:) hints?

The main problem with your workout routine for building muscle is the number of repetitions. 1250??? If you want to build muscle, you need to be lifting weights that are tough to lift eight-ten times. Abs can be built through repetition because sit-ups will tone and give definition, but if you want to build muscle on your arms you should be lifting far more weight than 5lbs. My advice is to go to your local YMCA or the gym that you belong to and get a consult from a trainer. Also, try to avoid eliptical trainers if you have a track available. More and more studies are showing that when you work on an eliptical machine, a tread mill, or a stair climber that your muscles don't develop properly, and can harm you over time as a result.
