MJ Fans: When did you first become an MJ fan?

when i saw the mtv VMAs performance (1995) video in my dads PC.....i was mesmerized...and then i realized i had already heard black or white and smooth criminal. and i asked my dad abt michael jackson and my handed me the cettes of michael's music...i only came out of my room to eat or go to the toilet...for an entire week. my mom had to take me to my gran's so that i would come out of it!!!! but you never come out once you're in!! lol
