How can dyslexia be treated with minimal monetary income?

I have an expat friend from Toronto, she is dyslexic at age 36. She has no cash at all to spend on expensive programs from up to 3000$ a week. Is there any concrete solution that she can do? Being dyslexic she cannot learn english and cannot get a job at all.
