Did i tear my acl, cartilage, or a ligament?

ok...im am 14 years old and about a month ago ive been kicked with a soccer cleat. i heard my knee pop really bad. ive been walking on crutches for that past month. every time i walk on it it snaps and i have lumps and bruises and swelling on my whole knee. the gave a long leg brace to wear for 2 weeks and now i have to go to a pediatric orthopedic.... what do you think it is by just hearing what the symptoms are?.... and if i tore my cartilage, or ligament would they give me a cast?... my friend in school tore his ligament and they put a llc on his knee for a week. will i have to get one?... and with i have to get physical therapy?
